THE RHYTHM OF COLOR

Cooper Hall sees a flowing rhythm in the tempo of colors — shapes and hues with a beat. Undulating, some moving closer and others retreating further within the hard-edged lines of her geometric world.

She likes the tingly sheen of fluorescent colors, playing them against tones that recede back or push forward in a three-dimensional landscape of order and softness, darkness and light.

Once a frustrating obstacle, her dyslexia has emerged as a gateway for the creativity she has expressed since she first picked up a paintbrush as a child.

MEET COOPER

I am an artist living and working in Atlanta, Georgia, that focuses on, but not limited to geometric abstract art.

Creating art through hard edge, lines of color not only shows my interest in color but also my drive for control in life inflicted by my experience with dyslexia.
